CHA Winter Trade Show - 2012

Here at last are photos from the trade show floor.  Enjoy!

No matter how many photos I take of the displays on the show floor, it's impossible to convey the magnitude of the creativity seen at every turn.  To say that it's overwhelming is a gross understatement. Styles are as varied as the designers who create for the manufacturers - from cute and whimsical to shabby chic and vintage, artsy and traditional all represented in paper crafts, yarn, fabric, jewelry, wood and more.  You can check out even more photos from the show on Pinterest

If you could pick one product from the Top 20 most Innovative Products for Winter 2012, what would it be?  Comment here and you might just be the lucky winner of a box of samples I brought back from the show!   See the list of products on an earlier post this week.   Y'all come back now......

Yours truly,
Julie :)

  1. The Shoe Attitude definitely looks innovative, but my vote would go to the stamping gear from EK Success. That thing looks really cool. I'd love to try it in person.

  2. Oh! Don't make me pick one! I love the idea of the Flower Me with Candy- with a 4yr old son, this would make for perfect teacher gifts for a long time to come. Of course, the Cool2Cast sounds great for papercrafting and I'd love to try Tulip Screen It.

  5. Thanks for sharing the photos. It makes me want to be able to attend even more. I think The Cutting Edge Clear Rulers by Sullivans USA that sharpen rotary cutter blades with every cut sound wonderful. Anything to make blades last longer. Thank you for the chance to win.

  8. I like the prima press but have a feeling it would just be another tool that really wouldn't get a lot of use. The Sullivan clear rulers however sound like a really good idea.

  16. Thanks for all the pictures! I think my favorite to try is Copper Color Me from Hot off the Press. I think that I could do a lot with that. It would be awesome to win some, or any of the goodies from CHA 2012!

    Thanks, Polly

Dear Julie, I have loved looking at all your photos! I especially love the shabby chic looking shadow box pictures. Would love to see a close up of those! If I had to pick one product I am sure it would be the embosser from Craftwell...I am a sucker for new die cutting/embosing machines, but I must say that the Send it Clear kit looks quite interesting, since I love making cards! I would have loved to visit the Flower Soft booth too, as one of my favorite products is flower soft! Glad you had fun.

  21. I think the EK Success Scrapbook tool is the most innovative thing I saw featured at this CHA. Of course, I love that Tim Holtz expanded the Distress link to include markers. There is a lot of great new stuff.

  23. Thanks for sharing all the fabulous photos from CHA.There are few things that don't interest me. My biggest challenge is crafting enough hours in my day for crafting. I always find Tim Holtz projects inspiring. :)

I noticed that the Knook- one of the top innovative products is in the giveaway box. That product also intregues me since I use a double ended crochet hook to make double-sided afgans.
